On May 8, 2008, Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (the Company) issued a press release announcing that it has entered into a settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in connection with the SECs previously disclosed investigation into the Companys historic stock option granting practices. In connection with the settlement, the Company will accrue $10 million for the payment of a civil penalty in its first quarter of fiscal 2009 financial statements.
