(b) On September 24, 2009 Michael Groos, corporate vice president of Nordson’s Adhesive Dispensing Systems segment in Europe, informed the company of his intent to retire effective November 30, 2009. On September 28, 2009 Nordson Corporation issued a press release announcing Mr. Groos’ retirement, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report and is incorporated herein by reference.
