Effective as of August 1, 2008, Leonard DeAngelo’s employment as an officer of Penn National Gaming, Inc. (the “Company”) has been terminated. Mr. DeAngelo will receive benefits and compensation, including severance, in accordance with the Employment Agreement between Mr. DeAngelo and the Company dated as of July 31, 2006 and filed as Exhibit 10.1 to the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by the Company on August 2, 2006.
