Item 8.01 Other Events.

On March 3, 2008, Kenneth H. Volz, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (the "Company") gave notice to the Company that he will be terminating his one-year employment agreement with the Company when it expires on June 3, 2008.

The agreement provides that the term of Mr. Volz’s employment will continue for successive one-year periods after the initial term, unless Mr. Volz or the Company gives written notice of non-renewal to the other at least 90 days before the expiration of the initial term or any subsequent renewal period.

Mr. Volz advised the Company that he will be willing to negotiate a new employment agreement with the Company.
