September 24, 2008, Mr. R. King Milling, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
of Whitney Holding Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company that he
intends to retire from his position as Vice Chairman of the Board effective at
the close of business on December 31, 2008. He also notified the
Company that he intends to continue to serve as a director of the
Company.
