), are once again ready to soar thanks to the artificial breath of a stock promotion.
No matter what the company's name is and how often it is changed, its stock is mainly rushed when there is a paid investor awareness campaign.
Yesterday, MDAV made the inauguration of the next in row campaign, adding 5.26% to its value.
It is hard to predict what will happen today with the share price, since a stock promoter, compensated with twenty thousand dollars, almost promises the shares would "move for the top of the charts this week, with a multi-faceted awareness push".
In addition, according to the "preliminary" information investors may be strewed with press releases with a luxury scent.
One of them seems to be released already.
Yesterday, Davi Luxury Brand Group, Inc. announced that Mr. Bernard Rice is joining the company's Board of Directors (BoD). Mr. Rice undoubtedly has the potential to push up MDAV ahead. Still, the information that he will be a member of company's BoD is most probably not a surprise for investors.
In mid-February, Davi Luxury Brand Group, Inc. made a disclosure to the SEC related to the appointment of Mr. Rice as the company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As stated by MDAV, "Mr. Rice is employed as the company's CFO through February 15, 2012, subject to earlier termination as provided in the Employment Agreement."
So, if the stock promoter promoted the "variety of changes" in the company, it looks like the recently announced new appointment will not be among the unexpected ones.
Among the most important and luxury changes seem to be those related to the number of shares which the newly appointed member of the BoD will receive. As a CFO, Mr. Rice is entitled to receive 200,000 shares of the company's common stock. He is entitled also to receive compensation from MDAV for certain services provided to the company.
Referring to the stock promotion and the shares' rush, which happens almost only when MDAV is promoted, the above entitlements were mentioned not to present how well or bad Mr. Rice is being paid. Hypothetically, the shares received by the company's CFO may "take part" in the forthcoming investor awareness campaigns and may improve the MDAV demand and liquidity.
