PositiveID Corp (OTCMKTS:PSID) Is Still Getting Pumped
PositiveID Corp (OTCMKTS:PSID, PSID message board) managed to jump another 7.07% last Thursday, when another round of promotional e-mails hit the web.
Truth be told, PSID's pumpers have done a whole lot of work for relatively little money while touting the company in the last few months. This latest round of e-mails by notorious names such as ResearchDrivenAlerts, MichaelStone and DavidCohen was disclosed as having a compensation of just $7 thousand, but it is just the most recent in a long line of promotional campaigns that have been targeting PSID for years now.
Unfortunately for opportunistic investors looking to make some easy money out of PSID, it would probably be very difficult to do so. Pumps lose their momentum fairly quickly – and this particular dead cat has had quite a few pump-fueled bounces in its long rollercoaster run of a history.
As can be seen on the charts, PSID has experienced some dramatic price movements lately, but the dollar volumes on which said movements usually happen are laughable. So although the action is still technically there, the opportunity for quick and easy profit is significantly reduced.
Investors should keep that in mind when deciding on whether or not to play PSID.
