PharmaCyte Biotech, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB) Slides in Double Digits

by Todor Pichurov April 7, 2015

Things were almost looking up for PharmaCyte Biotech, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PMCB, PMCB message board) but Monday's session put a wrench in the works. The company's share price slid 11% and wiped the progress made over the previous handful of sessions. PMCB stopped at $0.137 by the closing bell, after shifting 3.7 million of shares.

Sadly, the company is still being promoted by a number of stock pumper outfits, even though many shareholders seem to pretend this is not the case. As a matter of fact, there have been 92 pump emails for PMCB in 2015, the majority of them compensated, with payment ranging between $1,500 and $25,000. Those are just the emails sent for the company under its new name and ticker, not counting the hundreds of email pumps sent back when PMCB was trading as Nuvilex under the NVLX ticker symbol.

It seems even the paid, so-called 'research reports' compensated some $4,000 each, coming from Goldman Small Cap Research that are flooding PMCB's PR feed on newswire websites cannot keep the price up. Traders may just want to keep in mind that it was Goldman Small Cap Research that brought them past reports on companies such as Pacific Oil Co. (OTCMKTS:POIL) – a stock that dropped from $1.00 to $0.05 in a single session a few days ago, on 266 shares traded, and did a 1-for-200 reverse split in early 2015, as well as Hokutou Holdings, now named Platinum Pari-mutuel Holdings, Inc. (OTCMKTS:PPMH) – a Pink No Info enterprise that did a 1-for-100 reverse split in Feb 2015.

The company's quarterly for the three months ended January was published on March 13 and contained the following:

  • $958 thousand in cash
  • $378 thousand in total liabilities
  • zero in revenues
  • $1.45 million in quarterly net loss

The company informed that the cells needed for its clinical trials have been fully tested and are 'in the process of being propagated', to reach the amount needed for the trials.
