Investors seem to have been attracted by the stock of Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP
). Every single day the stock price is getting higher and higher, while the rogueware application Vista Anti-Virus 2011 is still being spread all around the web. Should we start suspecting possible danger?
After the last trade, the stock of Check Point increased by 0.26%, reaching the price of $54.32 per share. The trading volume jumped up to over 720 thousand stocks. Looking at the one-year stock chart, it can be seen that the company managed to rise from $30 per share up to the present $54 value.
However, it looks like Check Point Software Technologies wouldn't have done that without its products and, at the same time, cyber scammers who create such malicious antivirus software as Vista Anti-Virus 2011, which has been infecting computers since the end of year 2010 (in case Vista Anti-Virus 2011
has infected your machine, follow the removal instructions provided).
All in all, if there didn't exist companies taking care of the security of your computers and all the data stored on them, cyber crooks would just take control over the Internet, which isn't safe neither to your computer, nor to the information it saves.
