AmeriGas Partners, L.P., through its subsidiary, AmeriGas Propane, L.P., operates as a retail propane distributor in the United States. As of September 30, 2006, the partnership served approximately 1.3 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and motor fuel customers from approximately 600 district locations in 46 states. In addition to distributing propane, the partnership sells, installs, and services propane appliances, including heating systems.
