CommunitySouth Bancshares, Inc. was incorporated in South Carolina in March 2004 for purposes of operating as a bank holding company. Our wholly-owned subsidiary, CommunitySouth Bank & Trust, commenced business on January 18, 2005, and is primarily engaged in the business of accepting savings, demand, and time deposits and providing mortgage, consumer and commercial loans to the general public.
