Cornerstone was incorporated on September 19, 1983 under the laws of the State of Tennessee and is a bank holding company registered under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended, and was formerly known as East Ridge Bancshares, Inc. It has two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Cornerstone Community Bank, a Tennessee banking corporation, resulted from the merger of The Bank of East Ridge and Cornerstone Community Bank effective October 15, 1997, and Eagle Financial Inc., a Tennessee corporation ("Eagle"), created December 1, 2005 with the assets acquired from Eagle Financial, LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, and Eagle Funding, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company.
