Syngas International Corp. was incorporated on June 20, 1997 under the laws of the State of Nevada. On June 24, 1999 we changed our name to Fairchild International Corporation. On December 29, 2005, after obtaining approval from our shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on December 29, 2005 we changed our name to Syngas International Corp.
On April 8, 2005 we completed the acquisition through a reverse merger of all of the shares of Syngas Energy Corp., a developer of advanced integrated gasification production system technologies that produce energy in the form of synthetic gas as well as electricity. Concurrent with the acquisition, we disposed of all of our active oil and gas interests and their associated liabilities.
