Incorporated in 2002 the company had a couple name changes and became GiraSolar, Inc. since September 2006 after merger-acquisition of GiraSolar BV and Legend Investment Corp. It is headquartered in Michigan, USA and has operational headquarters in Netherlands. The company develops, markets and manufactures monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules and their components as well as provides related support services. GiraSolar primarily sells its products in EU – mainly in Germany and Spain. The company operates through three subsidiaries: Dutch Solar BV, GiraMundo and a joint venture GiraSolar Turkey. Representing the company in Europe, Dutch Solar manufactures and sells photovoltaic solar modules and range of electronic devices such as automatic voltage stabilizers, batteries and rechargers for the use in disaster or crisis areas. GiraMundo is the international project development and support company for GiraSolar and assists in finding financing for various projects. GiraSolar Turkey represents the company in the Turkey, Middle East and Mediterranean region.
