Medical Staples --------------- The Registrant has discontinued its efforts in the area of medical staples for use in internal surgery. Several United States Patents and foreign patents were received covering a novel staple. The staple has been produced and animal testing took place during 2003, 2002 and 2001. Final test results indicated insufficient commercial value for the staple. As a result, the Registrant discontinued funding for the project during 2003.
