Founded in October 2001, Left Behind Games Inc. is a developer and publisher of video games which are based on the popular Left Behind series of novels. Left Behind Games released its first product “LEFT BEHIND: Eternal Forces” in November, 2006. The game is sold through retailers such as Target, Best Buy, GameStop, EB Games, and others. Company has also began direct-to-store distribution of its product.

In the past year the company has decreased its worker count from 78 to 30. Also company was delinquent with their regulatory filings for the Securities Exchange Commission.

Currently the company‘s main financing source is the sale of shares of their common stock. On June 30, 2007, the company also had borrowed $130,000 under a Bridge Loan and raised net income of $883,800 from the sale of 9,088,000 shares of common stock. Left Behind Games only recently began generating revenues.

Left Behind Games hasn’t yet sent their regulatory filing for the third quarter of 2007, however the company announced that based on preliminary results of the third quarters sales activity, they would anticipate the cash flow profitability before December 31, 2007. This seems to be possible as the company’s net loss per quarter has been decreasing since the release of the game. Stockholders equity has however turned to the negative side just as the game was released. It has been decreasing for the last 3 quarters and was $-1.1 million on June 30, 2007.

Left Behind Games tends to cover their general and administrative expenses by paying many of its consultants in shares rather than in cash. Company is constantly issuing more shares. The number of shares outstanding has doubled over the last quarter.

The company believes it has started a new genre of video games. The sequel Left Behind: Eternal Forces 2 should be released around July 2008.
