MAIN STREET TRUST, INC. (the "Company"), an Illinois corporation, is a bank holding company registered under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956, as amended (the "BHCA"). The Company was incorporated on August 12, 1999, and is the parent company of Main Street Bank & Trust and FirsTech, Inc.

On March 23, 2000, the Company acquired all of the outstanding stock of BankIllinois, The First National Bank of Decatur, First Trust Bank of Shelbyville and FirsTech, Inc. following the merger of BankIllinois Financial Corporation and First Decatur Bancshares, Inc. into the Company.
