Using life-like models of a human female breast, the MammaCare System is designed to train individuals to perform effective manual breast examination. The breast models contain simulated tumors of varying sizes, ranging from under 5mm. to over 10mm. They also contain material which simulates the normal nodularity, or "lumpiness," that characterizes most breast tissue.
