Northeast Bancorp ("us", "our", "we", or the "Company"), a Maine corporation chartered in April 1987, is a bank holding company registered under the Bank Holding Company Act of 1956 (the "BHCA"). Prior to 1996, the Company operated under the name Bethel Bancorp. The Company's primary subsidiary and principal asset is its wholly-owned banking subsidiary, Northeast Bank (the "Bank" or "Northeast Bank"), which has eleven banking branches.
