Background and Corporate Structure

We are a Colorado corporation formed on April 3, 1998 as Uranium Power Corporation. On November 2, 2004 we changed our name to CanWest Petroleum Corporation. During the financial year ended April 30, 2006 our head office was located in Vancouver, British Columbia. In May 2006, we relocated our head office to Suite 1005, 550 - 11 th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2R 1M7. Effective July 24, 2006 the Company's principal office will be at 205, 707-7 th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2P 3H6.
