ORBIT/FR, Inc. develops, markets and supports sophisticated automated microwave test and measurement systems for the aerospace/defense, wireless communications, satellite and automotive industries and manufactures anechoic foam, a microwave absorbing material that is an external component of microwave test and measurement systems. Military antennas, cellular phones, satellites, radars, radio transmitters, and global positioning system receivers all depend upon the reliable and efficient transmission and reception of microwave signals in order to communicate.
