General

          The Utility provides electricity to more than 129,000 customers in a 50,000 square mile area of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Company derived 28%, 32% and 33% of its consolidated operating revenues from the Electric segment for each of the three years ended December 31, 2006, 2005 and 2004, respectively.
