Possis Medical, Inc. is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices, operating in one business segment. The company was incorporated in 1956 and has operated several businesses over the last 50 years. In 1990, we decided to focus on medical products and changed our name to Possis Medical, Inc. in 1993. Currently virtually all of our revenue is derived from sale of the Angiojet(R) Rheolytic(TM) Thrombectomy System, a proprietary catheter based system designed to remove blood clots with minimal vascular trauma.
