We are an independent natural gas and oil producer engaged in the exploration, development, exploitation and acquisition of natural gas and oil reserves in North America. We were founded in December 1985 as a Delaware corporation and wholly-owned subsidiary of our then parent company, KeySpan Corporation. We completed our initial public offering in September 1996.
