As of December 31, 2006, we owned 399
self-storage facilities located in 27 states and aggregating approximately
25.4 million rentable square feet. As of December 31, 2006, we
managed 14 additional facilities owned by Rising Tide Development, LLC (“Rising
Tide Development”), a company owned and controlled by Robert J. Amsdell, our
former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Barry L. Amsdell, a former
