Wake Forest Bancshares, Inc. is a federally-chartered stock holding company for Wake Forest Federal Savings & Loan Association (the "Association"), a federally-chartered stock savings and loan association which conducts business from its one office located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The office is located in Wake County, North Carolina. The Company was formed on May 7, 1999 in connection with reorganization of the Association into the "two tier" mutual holding company structure.
