Would like to know why Carly Long has sold off $1.5 million worth of GFET since last August (97), Mordekhay and Schiller have also sold off over $800,000 each and none of the management team has bought one share in the last year. How is that supposed to build investor confidence?

On the opposite. If a company's executives are dealing with such things, then the investors confidence decreases and decreases. I think this is th worst strategy a company may follow. Where did you bet such information, by the way?

This information is usually available from your broker (Etrade, in my case) when you look up "Ownership" you will find activities of management.
I tried to send them an email, but the only email address on their website is bogus (sales@gulfethanolinc.com) So I faxed the email message to them instead.
Message reads:
Why is it that Carly Long and staff has not bought one share of this stock in over a year, as a matter of fact, all of the company’s officers have only sold off their shares in large chunks since M. Long’s $1million sale last August when the stock began its long decline. As an investor, and believing this was a legit stock (especially since you found a way to post it on money magazine as a buy & hold) I believed all the hype that was put out, and I have a core belief in Ethanol technology.
I feel a little nervous since much of my IRA is tied up in your shares, and would like some real information as to what is going on with the company so I can realize that I didn’t make a mistake. Your website has not been updated in a while and I feel that investors would go here for information.

After sending a fax, have you received an answer from the company, eh?

I have not received any communication from the company either by fax, phone, or email. I'm starting to think it may be a dummy corporation using ethanol as part of their scam. They hype it up after issuing themselves millions of shares, and when people invest, they cash in their shares for big bucks at investor expense, which drives the stock back down. Then they start the hype again (News Releases) and repeat the process over and over, causing a steady decline in the value of the stock, which was actually worthless to start with. I believe the SEC should investigate this company. So far, I've lost a bundle as one of the suckers, but have learned an important lesson.

Heard from the company, finally. Told me the transactions I referred to involved ex-employees. They will have more info when 4th. Qtr. records are published. They will also fix their website email.

I hope these are not the promises only. Have they said when they are going to publish the results of the Q4?

So the only thing we can do now is just to wait and see what they are to publish...How many shares are left for you, if you have sold most of them already?

I called them yesterday and asked about the report. The lady told me in a month or so it will be released. I also asked about the Central America trip and was told that the representatives are there right now. I think I am going to go to their office and check them out to see if they are legit.
