Christina,
You can bet that Sam Landy is in here somewhere trying to figure out who is making thses posts. He is trying to figure out, Is it an employee? Maybe an X employee? Is it a Board member?
I heard that a few months ago someone posted an e-mail and he went balistics even sending out a memo to employees that if he found out who it was they would be fired immewdiately. Does this not sound like a guy who might be Bi-polar?

Any new President should be from outside, not connected to family, or, any similar business such as mobile home manufacturing or sales of ssuch. New person, new ideas.
AND, the last thing this company needs is the present president moving up to CEO.

Good free flow exchange of ideas. Don't let it get too personal. I agree that I want to hear from some residents and their experiences with UMH. Keep it coming. I'll be watching.

In his bio on the company website, it says he a lawyer. What law firm was he a part of? It also says he and officer with Mammoth reality. What's that? Has he done anything other than UMH and Mammoth? It's also seems he was promoted to president very quickly. Does anyone have his full resume?

I have about 600+ in UMH that I purchased at around 15. Am I happy? No. I was assured that these were recession proof stocks and in the past they were. They don't seem to be now and the only question is why? I here a lot of feel good rheotric from management, but I'm not buying it. I sincerly hope they get back into the 12-13 range so I can dump without too much of a loss, but I feel sad that this company as taken the turn that it has. Nobody's saying anything except the useless drivel that they put out in their yearly report. Their website is updated every decade it seems and is very impersonal. I want out. Sad

To complete my past quote, where I stated that Sam Landy was in here trying to figure out who was talking, a few months ago a derogatory e-mail was put out by an employee and Sam Landy went ballistic trying to find out who sent it going so far as to putting out a memo to employees that if he found out who sent it they would be immediately fired. Guy is bi-polar.

Yeah, bear and stearns, I guess the feds will bail out UMH when they hit rock bottom. It's not whining, it's a discussion and you're a troll. Or a member of UMH management. But I guess time will tell who's right here. Good luck with those stock options "Frank."

You should never justify a crappy situation by citing a worse one. Yeah, the genocide in Rwanda is bad, but look at the holcaust. Same thinking. And how exactly do you know that the management is so great in UMH? From what I hear on this board and others, management has changed drastically over the past five years. By your logic, that should itself be a cause for concern. And by that same logic, the other REIT's status shouldn't matter since they don't have UMH's crack team of experts. Speaking of which, I'm just wondering which individual in UMH's management you admire the most and what you consider to be their greatest accomplishment? Do you even know any of their names? Feel free to answer back, just don't be too whiny. Troll.

Tom Dolage, this is a fictitious name that Sam Landy came up with and is used to sign rent increase letters that are sent out to the residents of UMH communities. When a resident call the corporate office to complain and asks to speak to "Tom Dolage", the telephone operator has been instructed to tell the caller that Mr. Dolage isa not in. Is this illegal or just unethical?
