Did you notice that the stock is now trading at $29.90. Why such things are happening in here?

Here is the truth behind all this. Yes they have merged but the co will be Wachovia on the east coast and maybe abroad. In fact that this is so true I am a auto dealer that has Wells Fargo and was just told that wells fargo is done and since we are not signed up with Wachovia then we will not be signed up with either by 12.17.08 so in reality to all this just got worse!!! Wells Fargo was a gr8 bank and had many options for clients, but now it is just another name among the hundreds that will be out by year end 09'!!!!!

Has the CEO bought a new house or the company chanhed all their equipement? lol

Beware of Wells Fargo (Formerly Wachovia Securities).
If you think you can purchase securities in your account and will be able to do so forever, guess again. Wells Fargo may arbitrarily restrict you and all other clients from purchasing shares in a security after you have created a position. They will do so without notice. They impose a "Sell-Only" restriction on the stock wiping out the bid depth and disenfranchising investors.

Carrie, as I can not find any other way to get past the web site screeners, I am hoping that you will read this. My son is now in Iraq and as his father I am trying to help him with managing his finances. Well, trying, is the key word. I am a PMA account holder and banking with Wellsfargo for a long time.
Anyway, up and until now service was always great until I had to look at it from a service member perspective deployed in a foreign country. After many discussions I finally got a non-800 number he could call. Well I figured I should test it first and thank goodness I did. Twenty rings later I got a voice message to hold for a banker's help and then it promptly hung up on me. I tried several times and the rings lasted between 20 and 30 before I got an automated system and then get lost in some stupid routing problems.
Ok, the problems don't stop there, I am also told that this number is only good between 8am to 5pm Central time. Hmmmm, my son is in Iraq and ready to commit the ultimate sacrifice for his country, but wait he has to stop the war during the day to call you ... oh, sorry he has to get up from a well deserved sleep to call during business hours in the US.
As you can probably tell I am not happy and I am ready to pull my money out and go find a bank that will know what service is and how to provide it, especially for those who are protecting this country.
