pendragon are geting worse i now there is a credit crunch but you are raffling car away as the walkin traffic is less you should trying to make much money as possible on cars at least a grand not 500 hundred pound a car get rid of this marketing campaign it simply is not working about no discount poicy or cheapest cars in the area get rid you are doing more work and earning less money what is the point trevor finn stop before it to late as you are taking every one down with you just try

Having been made redundant from my job with pendragon how long before trevor finn is also made redundant or leave the company I fish goes DAD FROM THE HEAD

Do not work for this Mickey Mouse Company they have no Morals or loyalty to staff, they made me redundant before Christmas, If only Trevor Finn knew what his Regional Directors and Dealer principle's do behind the scenes! ( David Gullery & Leigh Tams) !!!

Pendragon is going DOWN! No love for employees, could give a damn about anyone and rips everybody off. The customers and employees are tired of it.

In my 30+ years in the motor trade I have never experienced such a backward organization as Pendragon. Their ego driven entry into the North American market has met with complete disaster. They overpay and overmanage their dealerships to massive loses. They have had to close or sell most of their U.S. acquisitions. their stock has been reduced tp pennies...

The Every Day Low pricing strategy is a complete sham (try researching it, it's laughable)the only advertising done is via the Auto trader and Evans Halshaw.com and sales managers pick and choose who they are competing against! If someone is cheaper on the net (a frequent occurence) the answer of "Ah yes, but they are a back street garage" will no longer wash.
Cars (advertised by private business) are usually better prepared, cared for and warranted than EH. Why pay more for a higher priced car in worse condition from a main agent? Trying to compete in a market place (The internet) but yet choosing who you are competing against is folly and is sure to spell the demise of Pendragon. You are either in the market place and competetive against all.. or you are not!
Asda make sure they are the cheapest in their market place!
Without knowing who the real competition is Evans Halshaw will continue to lose customers to sharper more flexible operators.
"Pay peanuts get monkeys!"
Watch the mass exodus of (good quality) sales staff from Pendragon come January 2010.
Never in all my time in the motor trade have I seen a more blinkered and deluded company than this. One which if it does not get sharper will end up broke!
Either be brutal with Every day low pricing and wipe out the competition or forget it!
Advertise that we have every day low pricing and shout it from the rooftops or forget it!
Pay salesmen a fair wage or lose them!
Treat customers as individuals or lose them, they dont all follow a pattern!
Be competetive with finance rates or lose that business, 7% flat is too high and sales managers/BM's wont go lower and end up losing deals because it affects PPU to be competitive!
All in all "GET A GRIP!" We are losing it!!
