I live in one of the Western PA Trailer Parks. I recieved a notice from park management that my cars' registration was out of date by a month and and would be towed and that I may be evicted from the park. ( I had forgotten to put on my updated sticker). I pay my rent on time and follow the rules and have for years. I have looked around the park and there are at least 5 vehicles(3 of which are immobile) that have been out of date, some for over a year. This includes the black Transam that is parked at the Park Office which expired about 6 months ago. Why do they go after some people and not others. I guess it is because they do not follow there own rules. Does anyone know if I can complain to anyone in the township it is located in? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Where do you live, Cranberry, or Belle Vernon? Neither have much time for UMH.

Unless they evict everyone with expired plates, they cannot evict you. It is against the law. Also, you would have to receive 2 violations in a 6 month period, and each would have to be enforced in the entire community and not just you. That is state law!!

Don't worry, new manaager is just blowing smoke. UMH can not afford to lose any more revenue.

The New Manager is doing something that hasn't been done for a l-o-n-g time---enforcing the Lease, and Rules and Regulations. I wouldn't push it, if I were you. It's a lot cheaper to get new plate and the car inspected, than to find a new place to live!

The Cranbury Manager is a company favorite. Corporate thinks she will earn huge commissions selling homes because she is a great manager.

It doesn't matter what corporate thinks of the new manager. The rules cannot be enforced if they are not enforced uniformly. There actually ARE laws to protect the homeowner, although there are areas where they need great improvement. Instead of hitting the panic button, do some research. Rules should be posted for all to see and a copy of the Pa. Manufactured Homeowners Act should also be displayed. If management does NOT enforce uniformly, the law is on YOUR side.

If she's a great manager, then she deserves to earn her commissions! The "porky boob" predecessor never did a thing, but line his pockets with anything he could lay his hands on.

As far a s I can tell have`nt yet seen a township come in and enforce laws on private property. I also dont see it making it to court due to the costs, if you dont receive it registered certified you can say you never got it. First the notice to cease the the notice to quit. "Aint worth it". Good Luck
