Dear reader,

Just to let you know I have been contacted by a woman from a "new" player "Trent Consultants" (from Korea) very interested in working with me (or my money).
As I almost fell for it with Richmond Capital Management from Korea a few month ago and my doubts were confirmed by this website, I think it is my duty to warn other potential victims of this new name, should they be contacted by them.
It is perhaps a real company, but I doubt it and don't want to waste my time following up on this con:
+ She contacted me through the same phone line and knew the same information on me as the guy from Richmond Capital.
+ I received the same kind of very general nice brochure through my company address...
+ Their website is as vague as the one from Richmond Capital
So I guess she is working for a boiler room as well.

You have been warned. Evil or Very Mad

Rgds

I too was contacted by a woman wanting to send me a brochure etc. in respect of Trent Consultants based in South Korea. They had my address and business phone. She wanted my mobile/email and pretty much anything else. I gave her no more than she had already. Brochure duly arrived, fairly vaccuous except for the questionnaire. I didn't return the questionnaire.
Today I recieved a call from them stating that as a valued customer (?) they had some good information on a corporate deal about to be announced and that a share price of 8 euros would within three months increase by some 60%!! Would I like to buy 6000 shares and incur only 5% commission. NO!!!!! Okay what about 3000 shares. NO!! Pester pester on and on they went. I said I would call back if interested. They said they were so busy pushing out this info to valued customers that they had no time for incoming calls!!!!!!!!!!!!! At that point I said bye-bye.
Trent may or may not be legitimate, that is not for me to judge. However, Trent if you want 40,000 euros or even half that amount then learn to behave with your "valued" customers.
By the way the company whose shares were to sky-rocket are apparently quoted on the Frankfurt stock exchange. I'm still looking.

Same here - no idea who they are and was contacted as a valued client.

Very superficial website, english woman Cathleen somebody - what a deal they had for me. Geman pharmacuetical company just signed a HUGE deal - expect share price to rise from 8 Euros to 40 by end of the year!

The old addage - if it sounds too good to be true then it is. Walk away and "tell a friend".

So, I was not aware for this scam. They got me with TerraMed for 14k EUR.
I think I will not see this money again, since I've ordered them to sell theres no response yet, except a selling confirmation. Since this contact I did not receive any money onto my account. :(
Long face now and lost money.
Contact there on the line : Adam Fox, Senior Consultant.
And some Lady on the Phone, I forgot her name.
Guys, be aware.

Jayc, did you ordered him to sell your shares?
Try that...a collegue of mine ordered to sell his shares (5kEUR), he got an offer from Mr. Fox and actually he's waiting for the transfer. As soon he will get something transferred, I will post it.

I ordered to sell too. after a few days, still no news...
so i called them back (it s so hard to reach them) and i ve been explained that the order of sells is going to be put in a group of shares.
and when the "big fishes" (big investors) decide, they sell everything and give the money...
but so far, they can t tell me any lead time... Twisted Evil

It s strange because the first time i ve ordered to sell (a few months ago) i received the money (but after one month...)
I just hope the process will be the same here

Does anybody has a way to contact them more easily than their f... line phone?
I m really not satisfied about the service, they make everything to let you think you won t see your money anymore

Yeah i received some money at the very beginning.
but the process took one month and i really had to phone them several times to push them.
So, no news and one month later i was even surprised to see the transfer done.
Now i ordered some other sells but it s the same...no news so far.
But i m not very confident...
for sure i ll let a post if any changes.

Can you guys tell me how you found this company? (or how they found you...)

Thanks

PostPosted: Thu Nov 19    Post subject: How they contacted me Reply with quote

They called me and asked if they could send some material.
After receiving the folder it took maybe a month and then they made a follow up call. I was busy, but they called back after a few days, talked and talked about this fantastic deal based on inside information etc. I was stupid enough to fall for it... Now I do not get any response. I get a strange feeling on these forums that they monitor and make positive messages... I hope you guys are for real.

PostPosted: Thu Nov 19    Post subject: Today Trent consultants pushed Companies West Group Inc. Reply with quote

Reportedly this Companies West Group Inc. has signed a huge deal with the Chinese government for clean coal technology. This co should be listed on Frankfurt SE. I looked this up of course. The Companies West Group Inc.'s web page is very vague and provides no information. Fishy. The stock is listed in Frankfurt, but is completely illiquid, some three deals totally in the last year (sic!); usually there should be thousands/millions of deals PER DAY
depending on the stock.

Very clumsy scam.

The guy who called me was some British guy, Nigel something.

Why would a bunch of foreigners set up this kind of a company in Seoul, when they according to Nigel's information specialize in the European market?

...the same approach to me. Several calls to my office (BKK) and sending a brochure.
After that calling again. I gave them the telNo of a collegue who than dealt with them.
First job was a good one with a 5kEUR made to 12kEUR deal.BUT the money wasnt transferred back on his acc. as he wanted to deal further with them. Than I jumped on this train with first 4kEUR on TerraMedAlliance for 7,50 EUR for a try. After 2 weeks again a call to increase my amount of shares for 1000, I agreed and transferred to Mauritius again. After 1 week, a mail from the Bank of Mauritius arrived, stated that the reason of transfer was not specified properly (first time with 4k was ok, only my accNo from trent).
Than I was a bit concerned and recalled the transfer, which hopefully works out.
Now I should transfer again this amount to another Bank Account to “pay” my open already purchased shares....otherwise I will not get back my first purchase of 4k.
Tricky situation now. Shall I send and get 15k probably back or I will keep my 8k for sure and let them the first 4k’s. Or send the 8k’s and loose all?? Sad
Some questions:
-Did anyone really have been scammed already? Means, after selling order NO money was transferred back?
- Where are you guys located actually, or, where have you been contacted by them?
- Is there a possibility they could take legal actions if I do not transfer the open 8k’s?

Hopefully this scenario is not a big loosing game...

Did you loose already?
Do you have any evidence? If yes, please share with us and post...

Same process with me: call for my personal details, got a glossy brochure, then a follow-up call. These guys keep on talking, no chance of asking reasonable questions. Do I have 10k available? Well, not for you. 5k OK? Was stupid enough to say yes. Then another guy called to verify and "record the conversation". Than a third guy calling to say that the transaction had gone through. Was twice stupid to pay on the day itself. Now trying to abort the transfer...

Thanks for this blog. Keep an eye on it.
