Homeserve have gone from bad to simply terrible, Their customers and clients dispair at the lack of interest in fulfilling their obligations under the policies they provide. In a lot of cases customers are left waiting for days to get a plumber out and following the the recent spate of aquisitions things are set to get even worse.

This company is fueled by greed and I would advise any customer to save their money and source a local reputable plumber. There are good ones out there, but Homeserve would have everyone believe that we are all cowboys. Most of their "plumbers" hold NO qualifications and have very little experience, contrary to their boasts on their web site.

I agree about the greed, they issued hundreds of thousands of FREE policies and claimed that their policy sales had increased to inflate share prices, then funnily enough, their directors started selling shares at the inflated price. What a sham. Is'nt this kind of activity illegal?
