I recently took up a position in Americredit. It's stock price has certainly been beaten up due to general macro-economic conditions and problems in the securitization market. Leucadia National's Ian Cumming recently took up a spot on their board, based on his track record and my experience with their company I am convienced that they will be able to continue to strenghten their balance sheet and keep their dealers and customers pleased with their services. Last quarters loss works to the investors advantage in this case and I look forward to a better than expect report this August.
