In knew Bill Crowley in high school. He was a couple of years younger on the football team.

We haven't kept in touch, but he was one of the nicest people I can remember from high school, with an infectious enthusiasm and a great sense of humor.

From what I have read, he has brought that same spirit to his business endeavors. One story I have heard from mutual friends is that after college at Yale he was drafted into the NFL and had a chance to make an NFL team. I know this was a life long dream come true for him. However, during training camp he received a Rhodes scholarship and chose Oxford over the NFL.

I think that speaks volumes about him.
