Firoz is a talented executive. He lists himself as a founder of the company, but that is not so clear. Sidru and Bob W. might argue the point. No questioning what his role was or what he accomplished at Kit's Cameras though.

Nonetheless he has recently turned the company around. But he does not seem to be able to get it to the critical mass necessary to be an industry leader. CDW, MALL, NSIT and PCCC dwarf him. He is perpetually playing catch-up to them.

His management style is interesting. He does not surround himself with strong people. Second tier at best. But he manages by consensus with his staff. This cumbersome management style yields slow and questionable results. When Firoz relies upon his own instincts and runs with them, the results seem better.

The company will most likely remain a takeover target however due to its size. The only thing that has thwarted the acquisition is Firoz' majority equity position coupled with his desire to stay in the game.
