Mr. Jacob Stolt Nielsen has ruined decent businessmen, in its own benefit, committing serious irregularities and showing its total lack of escrupulos.

As an example I will comment the case of the family Pando, the renowned Spanish Shipowners.

In 1989 Jacob Stolt Nielsen reached an agreement with the sotialist spanish State owned Industrial Credit Bank (BCI) to get rid of the PandoÂ´s Time Charter contractand purchase their parcel chemical tankers Luisa M. Pando and A. Maria Pando at half their market value.

Stolt Nielsen wrongfully arrested both vessels in the USA so as to cause the execution of their mortgages and purchased both vessel at half the price agreed with owners under the purchase option agreement they had-

Jacob Stolt-Nielsen, has been embroiled in a criminal cartel scandal for years. His company have profited by not informing other shareholders that Stolt-Nielsenâs immunity in the criminal case of fixing charter rates had been revoked.

Jacob Stolt-Nielsen remains under investigation in the USA.

Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group sold off 7.7 million of its own shares instocklisted Stolt-Nielsen SA in 2004, after the immunity had been suspended, without informing the market about the change in immunity status.

US anti-trust authorities cracked down hard on Stolt-Nielsen and two other Norwegian shipowning companies that admitted fixing rates on their chemical tankers. Executives at JO Tankers and Odfjell ended up serving jail terms, and those companies paid large fines.

Stolt-Nielsen initially won immunity when it said it would cooperate with the US authorities and cease all cartel operations. The authorities later determined, however, that Stolt-Nielsen officials lied and kept on charging the high cartel rates for several months.

That led the US to revoke Stolt-Nielsen's immunity, as early as April 2003, reports Dagens NÃ¦ringsliv. But Stolt-Nielsen protested and didn't inform the market, and then sold 7.7 million Stolt-Nielsen shares for NOK 714 million in January 2004.

US authorities continue to investigate Stolt-Nielsen. The company has since vacated its former US offices near New York and Jacob Stolt-Nielsen has sold his longtime home there and left the country

DPG, what is the Pando case? I don't know anything at all. I am with SNSA just for a month. Also became interested in your question..

The Pandos´ case :

Stolt-Nielsen has not been prosecuted for the actions involving the wrongful arrest and the ilegal acquisition of the vessels, !yet!.

I can give full contact details of the Pando´s to anyone interested in the case, on "quota litis" basis.

hi there, i am a woman from the philippines 39 yrs of age, I have plenty of friends and relatives whos seafarer employed at SNMS manila. I'm not interested on the business side coz, i'm not a business woman, what i'm interested most is the personal aspect of niels g. stolt-nielsen. how is he as a person as an ordinary human being. how about hes marital status? Is he engaged or already married? I'm only curious for his personal life coz he has already so many achievement in life.. hope to here niels side... see u then on my nxt comment.
