I helped raise the money for the first Texas Roadhouse and Had a deal with Kent to pay me 4% finders fee of $300,000. when the first store opened.
Kent paid me in such small amounts, first $1000.00 then got to be maybe $100.00 a month, and then he hid in the kitchen when I came for the money he owed.
I ended up only getting a total of $5000.00 over a year and sold the other $7000.00 of debt to someone for $3000.00.
They did eventually get their money after a year or so.
