If it isn't too much trouble to send him an email or something. I know there are lots of people who have given up selling on the exchange with no volume for so long. Your friend might not even know that selling is an option. If he's interested, I can easily arrange a specific time for both of us to go on the exchange and transact, or even get a lawyer in europe to give him a cheque in exchange for his stock certificate.

I do appreciate your help in this very much. if your friend has been wanting to sell and has been unable, I'm sure he will appreciate it as well.

Do any of you realize this company is "pink sheet"? I would be very careful in buy or selling these stocks. There is some interesting links to another source of capital but I believe is questionable.

I agree with Sam. A significant proportion of everything on the whole of the pink sheets is a complete scam. If people here were unfortunate enough to buy pink sheets stock, sell if you can.

Andrew you may want to reconsider buying share certificates, you may never be able to sell them. Even if you do buy on the market, these shares have no volume and you may never be able to sell. What are you thinking?

Sam and Jim, I think you have never gained a great profit from the pink sheet companies, eh?

Don't get me wrong, I love small cap stocks. Smile
You are correct, I have lost money on the Pinks but I have never made any. I've made money with most of the other plays I've made, but never on the Pinks. I remember buying one stock on a hot tip, thinking at 2 cents it couldn't go down much more. Then I realized the Pinks allowed a guy to be valued at a fraction of a cent. Today you can buy EQBM for .0001. I can't even cover the cost of fees if I sell.
Look at what the head of the Pink Sheets said in an interview.
"In the Pink Sheet trading of emerging companies, the fraud risk is the primary risk, not the investment risk," said R. Cromwell Coulson, the chief executive of the Pink Sheets. Many companies traded on the Pink Sheets are legitimate, he said, but some "seem to exist just to issue shares and press releases."

Here's the article. http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/05/03/business/norris.php

Now, I don't know anything about this company, but if I had to guess I'd say they a scam. We've got tales of people buying in a boiler room scam and virtually no volume whatsoever. It seems to me that the only thing this company has is a slick website and some unverified press releases.

So yes Terry, you are correct that I have never made money on the Pinks. I'm going to make another prediction. Andrew, I'll bet you heard about this on a hot tip and you don't now much about the company. You seem like the only person in the world with any interest in these shares.

Jim, you are correct that I did hear about this from a tip from my friends dad. Despite being third hand, I trust the source. I have been unable to collect much info on EGWV, and I've been very surprised at how hard these shares are to come by. Considering that nobody has anything nice to say about the shares, there still don't seem to be any around. I wonder if the directors have any? It doesn't say they do on the exchange.

Andrew,

The reason I assumed you had a tip is that many times in the past when I've heard of tips about companies with little to no trading volume, the source can be traced back to the very people trying to pass on their worthless shares to the next sucker. I don't know if this is the case, but be careful.

I just wanted to throw in my two cents. I have little interest getting into conversations about shares I don't own and don't plan to buy. People here should check out some of the solid small caps I like, V.RMC, V.TQY, and V.SNO.

I appreciate the warning, but my offer stands. If anyone here would like to sell shares in EGWV, on the exchange or signing over the certificate for a cheque, I'll offer $1.30.

Hey, Andrew,
I have contacted with a friend of mine I told you about but he seems to have gotten rid of his portion of shares and now they belong to the company. I am not sure how this happened and whether this can happen at all because I am not interested in these things but that's the answer I have got from him after sending an email.

Hey Andrew, I'm just wondering, have you invested in Edgeworth aside from picking up their stocks? ie have you bought any of their lot programs or MIC?

I mean that I don't know the details. The website doesn't say the prices, and I've never actually talked to anyone from the company. Also I live in Saskatchewan, so they don't have an office anywhere around here.

It doesn't matter though, I am not looking to buy lots, I am looking to buy shares. Companies are building lots in this province too.

Why do you ask?
