Personally I hope that Guy has what it takes to make NTS and Xfone a success. I know that Guy did not visit any of the satellite offices before he bought NTS communications. To me this indicates a real problem. I think If I was going to spend as much money as he has in purchasing a company I would want to take a long hard look at the infrastructure IE the network. He has only seen what they show him in Lubbock TX. I can tell you from a technical level that NTS is sorely lacking in the ability to have a stable network. Many of our fiber routs are not protected against failure as well as spares for vital equipment. I know this for a fact. My hopes are that Guy will recognize these weaknesses in our current network. I hope that he hires some real network Engineers the work for him. As the people in upper management at NTS at this time are NOT experts in Networking. They are experts at putting out fires that should have never started in the first place. Our current call center is in shambles and is run by a unprofessional managers. These things should be extremely clear to a professional businessman. Should the current situation change for the better as time goes on I will update this with better info. As for now these are some of my concerns about Guy. As of now I do not see him concerned with any of the technical aspects of NTS or Xphone. He is much more driven toward just the making money for himself and the others at the top of the pyramid. And leaving his employees to fend for themselves tough if you need a raise. Please understand that I am not personally attacking Guy. I want to give him a chance to succeed at Xphone and sincerely hope that he does. He should live long and prosper.
