When Cluff came to Obagi Medical in 2001 as their CFO/Sr. VP of Operations, the Company had grown about 10%, had failed to go public and was valued less than $100M. The Company grew between 18% and 45% every year he was there and successfully saw its IPO in 2006 with a public valuation of over $450M at the time he departed. the year after his departure the company returned to 10% or less growth. No other exec there spanned this phase of growth, so I believe no other exec deserves the level of credit for its success.
