Obama will not abandon the unions who will support him for a second term in office.

You know, I've read two articles by this guy: this one, and the one regarding Evergreen Solar. Every article he publishes is horribly under researched and the financial equivalent of a newsstand tabloid paper.

my hat! General Motors is digging the hole for themselves. Looking at the results of December 31, 2008, I was shocked. I didn't imagine that the company like that can be in such a bad situation.
* Not enough money for covering liabilities!
* Long term debt of $31,603,000,000
* Other liabilities of $69,027,000,000
* Cash and cash equivalents only $14,053,000,000
A very dangerous situation in the company, and that doesn't lead to a brighter future, unfortunately.

Why GM doesn't make deal with Raser Technologies for Hummer and other Pick-up trucks?
They do not have better chance than Raser approach.

The old fakeout. What a perverse decision, applying green technology while still building an overweight, overbulked, roadhog pigmobile for hyper alpha drivers.

A judge can eliminate the debt from GM, but he can't eliminate the competition. Unfortunately, GM still has to deal with intense competition in product and new product development process against Kia, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. GM may have changed its balance sheet, but not its management or decision making processes, which bodes poorly for its future.
