Friday's volume was low because the market closed early, in case you missed it, and it sounds like you did. You may have also missed STP just confirmed last week's exhaustion gap - which are generally followed by violent reversals. I'd say your "analysis" is mediocre at best.

I'm not as negative or rude as these other posters. STP at below 20 is a fantastic longterm bargain. Consider that it was around 90 a year ago when 8 year solar could only be imagined and the next presidenct was unclear. If that is not enough look at its PEG ratio.

Quote "Technically, it seems the stock is at its limit. Up volume, which is the main reason driving up the share price, faded at the end of the week."

What other stocks did you notice this also applied to?

I have a question that might be more telling than the insight that technical analysis brings. From reading your other articles, it looks as though you might explore fundamentals as well.

Why did the solar/photovoltaic industry miss the surge in the availability of silicon? That would seem a trend that any company that is on top of things would have noticed.

Hey dude,

Without solid proof... you are just speculating and driving this stock down. Why don't you be little optimistic in this bad economy ?

being evicted, or being in the process of eviction, does not constitute or permit a landlord's forced entry into any tenant's apartment. that's known as breaking in and entering which carries capital punishment - that i am still waiting to see. plus, as in my case i was also robbed which also carries capital punishment that i am also waiting to see. i was never evicted. the court case was at least 4 weeks after the robbery which was thrown out by the landlady's lawyer. i am the one deprived of my belongings worth $50,000, or more, of my female sweat while these drawers thieving lowlives continue to parasite on my reputation with the help of the ex-work maniac. as you all can see - for those who can read - i am extremely intelligent and not the kind of woman who thinks abuse is attraction. so when i say "no" you can rest assured that i mean it very adamantly.

Wow!! Commenters are really quite rude!
Thanks for the interesting analysis.
I have to disagree with you on this... technical analysis aside, at 8 bucks, this seems like quite the bargain. STP is fundamentally a big company- and will be one of the few to weather the economic storm nicely. In fact, as other solar companies die out and the industry consolidates, STP will only benefit. Their P/E is quite nice (6)- and with no other economy to prop us up, the new Obama administration will finally join the rest of the world and start investing in alt energy. STP is an obvious choice here. It never dipped below 15 for many years, and hit some pretty nice highs. I'm buying a few thousand bucks at $8, and ignoring it as it wanders between 5 and 12. I am looking to dump when it hits 20 again (in about 2 years).
