Interesting to see new posts here. This board was extremely quiet for a long time.

Has anyone heard anything about what is going on with the payments for the convertible notes? The due date for the payment is very near so it likely has been made if it is going to be made. I have not heard anything about it though.

The magic sands research project sounds like it has certain similariti
es to the silicon patent.

Meant to put the post in the main thread. A cat moving near the keyboard caused the world similarities to break into two parts.

The answer to the question is that the payments have not been made.

Hey, cats might invest, what similarities between magic sands research and silicon patent are you talking about?

I e-mailed Peter Klamka and he stated that the Dutch entity did not make the payment. Apparently he has not received the $250,000 due on December 31st. Also, no forms have been filed regarding the notes payable since the last 10Q.

There is a little time left in the year left; however, at this late hour it seems doubtful that the payment will be made.

The site says that the African sands project follows a "highly successful start up project in 2006" and mentions silicon and some other things that make it sound like it is based on the patent process. The article says in is a February 2009 project. Delft's site has more on it-

It seems that the notes may drag out longer since the agreement was not adhered to from the start. Whether this will lead to a new setup or something else with the notes is not fully clear at this time (possibly the legal status of the notes as well).

Search the Delft link since it direct linking is not working. It can be found in the Design Challenge section.

There is some possibility but why would he lie about this topic? The deadline is very close so if he is to be paid then the payment probably already was made. He is the only one to contact on the topic. There have been no forms filed about it so far. So it seems likely that no payments have been made. It might be possible to find out more happened in January.
