Peter Boutros ran Logistix like a mad man, ready to charge expensive meals, personal trips and Hugo Boss suits all on the company's corporate Amex. He was charasmatic and hands-on for the first three months and then became Waldo of "Where's Waldo" after revenue projections and budgets were in place. He played favorites with subordinates, allowing them to do all of his dirty work with a promise of promotion in the future. Management soon discovered that all of his contacts and experience in the industry didn't earn a penny after two years of promise after promise and re-org to re-structure. Companies beware of this con-artist.

On the last day last year, the company lost almost 40% of its present value...
isn't that really cruel? I think this is the worst prognosis for the coming year...

Peter is all talk and no action. Claims to know everyone in business, especially the entertainment business, but then can't get a meeting or close a deal to save his life. Spends freely with the company credit card. We can't believe he is still around.

I am also an employee at the company but I don't think you are. He is not acting in such a way, he hasn't ever.

I have just found that EMAK has published its annual, and 4th quarter financial results. All in all, they are still UNAUDITED and I don't like to believe in what they state.
I just don't like to look at such information before it is managed in the way it has to be.

Pete is no longer with EMAK and rightly so after he had the UK and European offices of Ligistix closed! False hope and promises he couldn't keep meant many people lost thier jobs abd livelihoods from a place that used to be a fun, great agency! A great great shame Sad

Did the logistixs of the compant close because of the financial crisis? Isn't this important to have this branch in a company? Or something bad is happening with the company itself?

I think it's a "confused" type smile... I take it as a nervous smile. We need to relax, 09 is going to be rough but the company can overcome...

Can you tell me something more optimistic than I have written myself? It's so hard to be positive about the company when I see such things happening. Please, blow some optimism into my head.

Peter worked tirelessly to turn around Logistix/Emak. He had no choice but to down size the company and terminate many people which he did directly - obviously some of these people are disgruntled. His vision, business acumen and leadership are an inspiration.

From your post it seems that he is a very good person, trying to do everything whta is best for the company. Hope EMAK is to survive.

What are his positive personal charactereistics?

You obviously weren't temrinated then.....Peter never did it directly! Always got someone else to do it in my team!
He is not an inspiration, he is all talk and no action unfortunately. Far too many broken promises.
I don't know what has happened to Emak but I can tell you Logistix UK no longer exists, neither does Logistix in Europe.

Emak Fan must be Peter Boutros himself. There is not one person in that company who can honestly say that Peter performed his job at a satisfactory level - especially to include descriptions like integrity and working tirelessly. No way! It took the B.O.D. and Jim Holbrook much too long to see that Peter could not perform as expected. Unfortunately, Logistix had lost most of their clients by that point. Trust me, I saw it with my own eyes. Logistix has some of the brightest, most talented people in product development, but there is no one competently driving the business.

Such an illiquid stock that I don't think that anybody would ever want to invest in it. Poor performance, poor stock.

I agree. Peter did the very best he could. he was contantly undermined by his boss who really didn't care about any of the business units outside of Chicago.

He thinks he's all that, his company at 13 Elizabeth St, Campsie, called Mum's Choice manufacture and distribute dips, but what people out there don't know is that they use expired products, I hope he gets caught and they shut the place down.
