MINNEAPOLIS , Minnesota, March 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allot Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALLT), a leader in IP service optimization solutions based on deep packet inspection (DPI), today announced an additional win for its new Service Gateway platform by an incumbent operator in the Asia-Pacific region. The operator has selected the Allot Service Gateway Omega Series (SG-Omega) to optimize its international peering link performance, reduce operating costs and ensure high Quality of Experience (QoE) for its subscribers.

The Allot Service Gateway enables carriers and ISPs to enforce application-specific policies designed to maximize network efficiency and reduce operational expenditure. The multiple-site deployment will grant the operator an accurate per-application depiction of the traffic traversing its international peering links and ensure Quality of Experience at all times. The open architecture of the Allot SG Omega platform will enable expansion of the operator's service offering to integrate applications such as parental control, anti-DDOS protection, usage-based billing, and more.

'This win is another testimonial to the rapid adaptation of our SG-Omega, a true 10G platform for large mobile and fixed telecom operators' said Rami Hadar, Allot CEO and President. 'The Service Gateway has been repeatedly chosen not only for its current features and performance, but also as a platform for the adoption of future DPI-based value-added services.'
