LOUISVILLE, Ky. , June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Almost Family, Inc. (Nasdaq: AFAM) announced today that it is scheduled to be added to the Russell 2000(R) Index, effective at the close of market on June 27 , according to a preliminary list of additions posted on June 13 to www.russell.com.

It includes approximately 2000 of the smallest securities based on a combination of their market cap and current index membership. Based on the monthly statistics as of May 31, 2008 , the median market capitalization of the Russell 2000(R) Index was approximately $541 million .
