TAMPA , Fla., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Imaging Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: GISX) announced today that it has acquired Acme Business Machines, headquartered in Roanoke, VA. The new addition sells and services Konica Minolta and Ricoh copiers and other office technology solutions. Acme, with annual revenues of approximately $2.8 million , will operate as a part of the company's Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI).

Global Imaging President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Shea said, 'Acme has built a strong business in the Roanoke Valley market, distributing some of the same brands of office automation equipment that we have in many of our locations.
