TAMPA , Fla., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Imaging Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: GISX) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a two- for-one split of the company's common stock, to be effected in the form of a 100 percent stock dividend. Each shareholder of record will receive one additional share for each outstanding share held at the close of business on August 1, 2006 . The additional shares will be distributed on August 15, 2006 , and trading will begin on a split-adjusted basis on August 16, 2006 .
