George E. Betts was elected our Chief Financial Officer effective April 14, 2005. He   is a senior executive with extensive experience in finance and management. His twenty-three year career has included working as a partner in Deloitte and Touche from 1960 to 1984 with 12 years experience in the Far East as Senior Partner of the Hong Kong office. He has extensive knowledge of business practices in the Far East. He is responsible for establishing Deloitte and Touche in China. He served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Herbalife, Inc. from 1984 to 1990, a direct selling company in the health and nutrition industry. There he was responsible for the International expansion of the Company, opening operations in over 15 countries. He managed growth of the Company from staff of 15 to over 1,500 in two years, and was responsible for taking the Company public. He served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Selling Association and the Direct Selling Foundation. His other business experience includes owning and managing small business in the wood products industry from 1990 to 1997 and acting as a financial consultant to the organization and management of an Offshore Bank from 1997 to 2002.
